This was our first course in this area and was requested by a physiotherapist, Alice Hardy, after she had read an article on AWC in a recent addition of Frontline (magazine for physiotherapists).
The course was attended by 6 wheelchair users and their families and there were also 5 physiotherapists who attended over the 2 days.
Everyone had a really good time, learning new skills, playing games and making friends. We would like to say a big thanks to all who came along and to the physiotherapists who helped to arrange the course. We will be running a follow up course next year.
